Answer
I focus on reminding parents (especially moms) that you’re a person, not a martyr. Parenting can swallow your identity, so my approach is about raising good humans without losing yourself in the process.
I push back on guilt, judgment, and BS parenting clichés. Instead, I encourage:
- Sharing the load with a partner
- Dropping perfectionism
- Supporting other parents instead of “parenting stones”
- Letting kids see you have needs, limits, and a life
When you think about your own family, where do you feel the most tension right now—partner dynamics, kids’ behavior, or your own burnout?
