What are the craziest things Meredith Masony's kids have fought over, and how does she manage it?

They have fought over everything from who breathed on whom, to who sat in which invisible spot on the couch, to whose turn it is to look out a particular window. I’ve joked that they wake up fighting and go to bed fighting, usually over absolutely nothing at all.

How do I manage it? A mix of:

• Humor (so I don’t lose my mind)
• Clear rules about sharing (“You own nothing. Your father and I own everything. You borrow our stuff.”)
• Separating them when it gets too heated
• Reminding myself that sibling chaos is normal, even if it’s loud and ridiculous
