• Light smarter, not bigger: 1 light → bounce it off a white wall or board → add diffusion (sheet, shower curtain, softbox) for that soft, “Hollywood” glow.
• Use practicals (lamps, screens, windows) in-frame to motivate your light and hide cheap fixtures.
• Shoot in naturally great locations (big windows, textured walls) so you need less gear.
• Move the camera with what you already have: tripods, chairs, body rigs instead of expensive gimbals.
