How did Katy Huie Harrison contribute to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's fundraising efforts?

I was honored to take part in a 10-week fundraising competition on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Despite having no prior fundraising experience, I set lofty goals for myself and was determined to raise as much as possible for this amazing organization.
The campaign was both challenging and rewarding. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and expanded my limits far beyond what I ever thought was possible. But it was all worth it when I was named the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Atlanta’s Woman of the Year.
With the incredible support of my husband, I was able to raise over $250,000. Together with the other candidates, we raised a total of $2,389,275 to help fight cancer. It was an amazing experience and I'm incredibly grateful to have been a part of it.
