What tools and gear does Meredith Masony recommend for a perfect family pool day?

Hi there!

From what I’ve shared so far, I talk more about what we’re doing at the pool (kids living in the water all summer!) than specific product brands. So I don’t have an official “Meredith’s pool kit,” but here’s what I’d personally consider must‑have gear for a smooth, family pool day:

• Well‑fitting life jackets or puddle jumpers for weaker swimmers
• Plenty of sunscreen and hats
• Goggles and a few simple pool toys (balls, dive rings, noodles)
• Big towels and a change of clothes for everyone
• Snacks, water bottles, and some shade (umbrella or tent)
