Hi, I’m Meredith Masony.

When I talk about motherhood and family, I don’t use a “method” in the traditional, textbook sense. What sets what I do apart from a lot of classic “family engagement strategies” is this:

  • I start from radical honesty about how hard parenting is, instead of idealized, Hallmark-style expectations
  • I focus on moms not becoming martyrs: you are a person first, and that actually makes you a better parent
  • I normalize the messy parts of parenting so moms feel less shame and isolation and more connection and support
  • I use community (lives, comments, shared stories) so moms see they’re not alone in their fears and failures

Traditional strategies often tell you how you should behave. I try to reflect how you actually feel, then build healthier expectations and boundaries from there.

Are you asking more from a school/education standpoint or from a home/family-life standpoint?
