Question
How has Meredith Masony’s content evolved to address audience pain points in parenting?
Answer
Hi there!
I’ve really grown my content around what moms are actually struggling with, instead of what we think we “should” be talking about. Early on, I focused a lot on the chaos and comedy of motherhood. Over time, I started leaning more into the deeper pain points I kept hearing:
- Losing yourself in motherhood and martyrdom
- Feeling like a “bad mom” because your kid has behavioral issues
- The pressure to be perfect instead of “perfectly imperfect”
In videos like “You’re A Mom Not A Martyr”, I talk about how there’s no handbook, how motherhood can swallow your identity, and why you still need to be you to be a good mom. That directly hits the guilt and fear so many moms quietly carry.
With things like MOMosa Monday and the podcast, I moved toward more honest, community-based conversations about “mom fails,” aggression, and behavior struggles. Instead of pretending everything is fine, I openly say: this is hard, you are not alone, and it is okay to talk about it and get help.
The evolution has really been:
- From: venting and humor about daily chaos
- To: combining humor with real talk about shame, isolation, mental load, and identity, and offering connection through podcasts, social platforms, and shared stories.
Is there a specific parenting pain point you’re most interested in—identity, behavior issues, guilt, or something else?
