Answer
My years as a classroom teacher shape almost everything I create now. I spent a long time managing chaotic rooms full of kids, juggling parents, PTO, administrators, and zero resources, and that gave me a front-row seat to how hard modern family life really is.
Because of that, I:
- Talk a lot about schools, PTO drama, and “HR of the house” with a wink, but also with empathy for teachers and parents
- Break things down like a lesson plan: clear point, real-life example, quick takeaway
- Use humor the way I did in the classroom—to defuse tension, keep people engaged, and help us feel less alone
Underneath the jokes, I’m still “teaching,” just in a different room now: helping parents feel seen, normalizing the messy parts, and giving everyone permission to laugh at the chaos.
Is there a specific part of my content you’re curious about—school stories, PTO bits, or parenting sketches?
