Hi, I’m Paul Rogers from thatcreativeceo. Love this question because “solar panel glasses” are a real menace. 😅 Here are the big things I do:

  • Raise the key light above eye level and angle it down so the reflection bounces past the lens, not straight into it
  • Use butterfly lighting (light centered, high, angled down) for an even, flattering look with less glare
  • Nudge the light slightly off to one side instead of dead-center when needed
  • Tilt your frames or your chin a couple degrees if there’s still a hotspot
