With Sirui, I’m a big fan of their anamorphic lineup for getting that cinematic look on a budget. In the clip you’re probably referring to, I’m using the Sirui 150mm T2.9 1.6x anamorphic. That long focal length + 1.6x squeeze gives you:

• Classic horizontal flares
• Wider, more cinematic field of view after de-squeeze

To really make it sing, I pair lenses like this with:

• A solid variable ND
