• Second layer (silk, bounce, or frame) kills the hotspot and turns the entire surface into the light source
• Result: smoother shadows, softer skin, and light that feels like daylight through a window instead of “YouTube soft but still harsh.”

It’s especially noticeable on beauty, interviews, and talking heads where skin has to look expensive, not crunchy.
