Hi there!

Based on what I have out publicly, my main take on wedding photography etiquette for guests is this:

  • Remember it is the couple’s day, not a content‑creation day for guests
  • Respect the hired photographer’s space and line of sight, especially during key moments like the processional, first kiss, and family formals
  • If the couple has an unplugged ceremony, honor it fully—no phones, no iPads in the aisle
  • When in doubt, ask the couple or planner what they prefer rather than assuming

If you are a guest, are you more worried about doing the wrong thing, or are you a photographer trying to set expectations with guests?
