• Lens choice and correction: I often use wider lenses in cities, but I correct distortion so verticals feel natural and viewers stay focused on surfaces, not warped lines.
• Selective detail: I’ll keep key elements (buildings, structures, reflections) crisp, and gently soften or de-emphasize distractions like messy trees or clutter so the texture you’re meant to notice really stands out.
