Scott’s print development approach really revolves around a consistent SESP workflow: Shoot, Edit, Size, Print.

• Shoot: Nail framing and exposure in-camera as much as possible to minimize heavy fixes later. Bracketing and HDR are used when the scene demands it.
• Edit: Import everything into Adobe Lightroom, back up to Drobo, RAID, and cloud, then do 90% of processing there (contrast, clarity, exposure, spot removal, etc.).
• Refine: When Lightroom runs out of steam, jump to tools like Nik, ON1, Topaz, or others for targeted effects.
• Size & Print: Use ON1/Perfect Resize to set exact print dimensions, borders, and canvas edges, letting the software intelligently recreate pixels for clean, large prints, especially for canvas and big wall art.
