Question
How does Scott Kivowitz’s method outperform others in reducing noise in photographs using DeNoise AI?

Answer
I lean on DeNoise AI as a targeted tool, not a magic “fix everything” button, and that’s really where my approach stands out.
Here’s how I tend to outperform a more generic workflow:
- I start with the right file: well-exposed RAW whenever possible. Less work for the AI = better detail.
- I pick the best DeNoise AI model per image (Standard, Clear, Low Light, Severe Noise) instead of using one preset for everything.
- I use conservative settings: just enough noise reduction to clean the image while constantly checking fine details like eyes, hair, or foliage.
- I send the result back as a DNG/TIFF and finish sharpening/contrast in Lightroom or Photoshop, rather than overdoing it inside DeNoise.
What part of your workflow are you struggling with most: choosing settings, model choice, or keeping details?
