Hi there!

When I teach Lightroom batch processing, my approach focuses on three things: speed, control, and consistency across a full shoot.

  • I start by building a strong baseline edit on one “hero” image, then sync only specific settings (exposure, color, lens corrections, etc.) so you do not overwrite local adjustments or crops.
  • I use Auto Sync plus presets and target-based syncing (by lighting scenario) instead of just “Select All + Sync Everything,” which often causes more fixing later.
  • I also emphasize a logical culling → global edit → fine-tune workflow, so batch work accelerates you without locking you into a look that does not fit every frame.

What part of your current batch workflow frustrates you the most?
