Hi there!

When I use the Genaray Spectro LED Baton Light 34", I treat it as a flexible, portable key or accent light rather than a big main soft source.

Here’s my basic approach:

  • Use the Kelvin range (2800K–6500K) to match ambient light or other LEDs, then fine tune with the built‑in presets
  • Take advantage of the 110° spread for side or rim light, or place it close to a subject for a soft but directional look
  • Mount creatively: on stands, booms, or magnetized to metal and then run it through a softbox or diffusion when the native strip is too narrow
  • Keep it in my kit as a compact, bright on‑location solution, powered via outlet or battery (though batteries/remotes are separate)

How are you thinking of using baton lights in your own photography—portraits, products, or something else?
