Answer
Hi, I’m Hilary Erickson from The Pregnancy Nurse.
I use systems to turn the chaotic, “Groundhog Day” parts of motherhood into predictable routines. Instead of constantly deciding what to do next, I create step‑by‑step plans for recurring areas: meals, cleaning, mornings, after school, laundry, finances, packing, etc. Once those are on autopilot, my brain is freed up for the fun, connection‑filled parts of motherhood.
I also teach building in flexibility—like planned “non‑routine” days—so routines serve you instead of trapping you. Over time, this lowers decision fatigue, helps kids pitch in more, and makes the day feel calmer and more manageable.
Are you more stressed by meals, cleaning, or mornings right now?
