I bring a pretty unusual mix to labor preparation: decades at the bedside in busy trauma centers plus years teaching families online and going through birth three times myself.

Because I’ve seen thousands of different labors, I know that “perfect plans” often collide with real life. That’s why I emphasize mindset, flexibility, and realistic expectations just as much as breathing and positions.

I also learned the hard way that many standard classes barely touch postpartum, emotions, or what your body really feels like afterward. That’s why I built my own class to cover third‑trimester testing, labor at home and in the hospital, plus postpartum and newborn care in plain language.

Are you mostly curious about mindset, pain-coping techniques, or postpartum prep?
