Who is Natasha Nicholes and what makes her content unique?

I'm Natasha Nicholes, a Chicago-based blogger and the creative force behind Houseful of Nicholes. I started my blog in 2010 when I was expecting twins and couldn't find a space on the internet that resonated with my experience as an African-American mom preparing to expand her family.
What sets my content apart is the blend of my city life with my love for homesteading. I'm passionate about gardening, building from scratch, baking, and advocating for the common man. I also share my journey of homeschooling my three youngest children and my adventures in travel.
In addition to this, my husband and I have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build our own home and started an award-winning community garden initiative. I love making things - sewing, knitting, canning, preserving, building - and I share all of this on my blog.
