Traditional homesteading often assumes acres of land, private wells, and looser zoning. I work in Chicago, with limited space, regulations, and neighbors all around. At We Sow We Grow, we focus on raised beds, intensive planting, community education, and shared resources to make gardening doable for many people, not just one household.

Because I’m an urban farmer, nonprofit founder, and homeschooling mom, everything has to be practical, repeatable, and community-centered instead of isolated and land-heavy.
