How has Natasha Nicholes inspired her audience through personal stories like her sister's Navy service?

I share my sister Jessica’s story and my own Navy service because it’s a real, imperfect part of who I am. Jessica was supposed to ship out just days after she died, and I ended up serving in the Navy in her place. When I talk about that, I’m really talking about sacrifice, purpose, and finishing what someone started.

I’ve found that being open about grief, service, motherhood, homeschooling, and even my “serial hobbyist” side gives people permission to show up as their whole selves too. My goal is always to remind folks that they can love hard, serve others, and still embrace joy and everyday simplicity.
