Question
How is Natasha Nicholes influencing family traditions with her unique content on Instagram?
Answer
I use Instagram as a highlight reel of how my family actually lives, not just how things “should” look, and that’s a big part of how I influence family traditions. I share road trips, big and small wins at home, and everyday moments that show large(ish) families can create memories without going broke or being overwhelmed.
I also lean into homesteading-in-the-city content—gardening, canning, building, cooking from scratch—so families see that growing food, serving together, and learning new skills can become traditions too. My goal is to normalize joy-filled, intentional family life for Black families in particular, and to spark ideas others can adapt for their own homes.
Is there a specific kind of family tradition you’re most curious about—holidays, travel, or everyday routines?
