When we’re on the road, we travel pretty light: mostly laptops and a few essentials. I lean heavily on museums, libraries, historic sites, and local experiences as our classroom. The kids explore, ask a ton of questions, and we follow their curiosity as much as possible.

For me, homeschooling isn’t just books and worksheets. It’s learning from the world around us—geography, history, science, culture—while we’re actually standing in it. I focus on keeping them engaged and inquisitive, and then I connect what we see back to their core subjects later.
