What future plans does Natasha Nicholes have for expanding her community events?

Natasha is always dreaming up ways to deepen and expand community work, especially around gardening, food, and family life. From what is shared so far, there are a couple of clear directions.

After building her home with Habitat for Humanity, she and her husband started an award-winning community garden initiative, beginning in their backyard and expanding to three neighborhood lots to provide food locally. Future growth is centered on:

• Growing those garden spaces and programming
• Increasing food access and education in her Chicago community
• Moving further into “part-time homesteading” in the city, including plans to add chickens
