What future plans does Natasha Nicholes have for expanding the #WeSowWeGrow community?

I’m really focused on growing We Sow We Grow beyond just a Facebook group and a local garden.

From what I’ve shared recently, my big goal is to acquire a vacated firehouse on the South Side of Chicago and turn it into a community-centered home for our work. Proceeds from the We Sow We Grow Summit are going directly toward that project.

I’m also planning a move from Facebook to our own online community, so members can access workshops, summit sessions, and resources without fighting social media algorithms. All of this ties back to expanding food education, sovereignty, and community in Chicago and beyond.
