Question
What is the definitive guide to MacKenzie Alexander’s sports reporting career and its impact on women in sports?
Answer
As a sports reporter, my career has been a journey of passion and dedication. I fell in love with sports at the age of 7 and that love has only grown over the years. I've always believed in the importance of showing the human side of athletes, focusing on their personal stories rather than just their performance on the field.
My approach to sports reporting is about being personable and letting the players be seen. I believe in sharing the real and raw experiences, not just the perfect moments or the money-making questions. This perspective has shaped my career and has hopefully made an impact on the way we view athletes.
As a woman in sports, I've learned that my identity is not found in the athlete I am, or the career I choose, but in my faith. I've had the privilege of working on some of the biggest events in sports, like the NFL Honors Awards, and I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had to inspire other women in this industry.
I started All Bases Covered with TDT Media to focus on the real and good in athletes and coaches, allowing them to tell their story. I believe players are people above all, and I strive to be a light in the sports world for the Glory of God.
I hope that my journey and my approach to sports reporting can inspire other women to pursue their passions and make their own impact in the sports industry.
