What makes Molly Lynch’s approach to teaching unique?
Answer
As a first-grade teacher with over 22 years of experience, I've learned that teaching is a constant journey of learning and adapting. Every year brings new challenges and opportunities to grow, whether it's changes in behavior, curriculum, expectations, or administration. I believe in the importance of never stopping learning and not being afraid to admit that I may not know it all.
In the beginning, I was the loudest in the room with lots of opinions. But over time, I've learned to step back and listen more. I think this ability to adapt and grow is a key part of my teaching approach.
Additionally, I strive to make life easier for other teachers by creating engaging and low-prep lessons. I've created products for teachers to use in their classrooms, including two apps and a series of logic puzzles and geography books for young learners.
In essence, my approach to teaching is about constant learning, adapting, and sharing resources to support other educators.
