What are the key lessons Ken Walker learned from puppy ownership and personal accountability?

From that post, the big lessons I pulled from puppy life and accountability are:

• Patience is everything – puppies don’t know the rules yet; getting mad doesn’t speed anything up, it just stresses both of you out.
