Hi, I’m Ken Walker from Instagram. Love this question.

Traditional views on mental health (especially for men) often sound like:

  • “Man up”
  • Hide your feelings
  • Numb it with work, jokes, parties, porn, whatever

My perspective is almost the opposite: it’s EASY to mask pain now, but it only makes it harder to deal with later. I push men to actually feel it, name it, and share it with people they trust. That’s where real healing starts.

Instead of treating emotions like weakness, I treat vulnerability like a skill:

  • It builds deeper relationships
  • It prevents emotional blowups later
  • It lets you actually process your story, not just survive it

In other words, the “strong silent” approach looks tough but breaks you slowly. Vulnerability looks scary but frees you.

What part of vulnerability feels hardest for you right now?
