What VR gear does Ken Walker recommend for an immersive experience?

From what I use and talk about, I’m a fan of standalone headsets like the Meta Quest line for a balance of immersion and convenience. They’re easy to set up, good enough resolution, and perfect for casual to mid‑core gaming and experiences without tons of cables.

If you’re more serious, a PC‑tethered headset (like Valve Index or similar) plus good headphones gives you the deepest immersion, but it’s more money and setup.

What’s your budget and are you mainly gaming, watching content, or doing fitness?
