What inspired Hispana Global to embrace natural curls in their beauty narratives?

I’ve always believed beauty starts with self-acceptance, and that includes our hair. As a Latina with naturally curly hair, I spent years fighting my texture because media and beauty standards favored straight hair. That pressure is so common in our community.

Seeing how many women felt “less than” because of their curls inspired me to flip the script. Through Hispana Global, I focus on celebrating natural texture, showing easy tutorials, and reminding women (and girls) that their curls are something to love, not to fix.
