Who is the founder of Hispana Global and what is her impact on digital media?

Hispana Global was founded by me, Jeannette Kaplun. I'm a bilingual Latina mom, journalist, TV host, published author, and speaker. I was born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Chile, which makes me truly bilingual and bi-cultural.
I've been blogging about my pregnancy and motherhood since the early 2000s, making me a pioneer in the Latino/Hispanic blogging world. I also co-founded Todobebé, the first pan-regional baby and parenting website in Spanish and Portuguese.
In 2012, I founded Hispana Global with a mission to help Hispanic women be, feel, and do their best. We cover a wide range of topics including beauty, fashion, parenting, food, technology, travel, and social good.
I've been recognized for my work in digital media, including being included in the Forbes #Next1000 2021 List and receiving the Iris Award for Best Instagram. I'm also a special advisor to the Bank of America Institute for Women’s Entrepreneurship at Cornell.
