Question
What unique insights does Carolyn Scott offer about travel experiences in Taiwan?
Answer
During my travels in Taiwan, I had the opportunity to explore several unique experiences that I'd love to share with you.
In Taipei, the capital city, I visited the Taipei 101 skyscraper, which is an architectural marvel and the world's largest Leed certified, green building. It offers a 360-degree observation deck and a lightning-fast elevator.
I also visited the National Palace Museum, home to nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks.
Outside the city, I recommend Yehliu Geopark, known for its surreal moon-like landscape of honeycomb and mushroom rocks eroded by the sea.
Don't miss Shifen Waterfall, the widest waterfall in Taiwan, and Jiufen, a beautiful village nestled in the mountains east of Taipei, known for its charming, narrow alleyways and teahouses.
