What are Carolyn Scott's favorite destinations for animal-themed holidays?

Some of my absolute favorite animal-themed destinations are:

• Orlando, Florida – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, where you can spot giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, ostriches and more right from the resort.
• Tanzania, East Africa – Especially the Serengeti, for seeing the Big 5 (lions, rhinos, leopards, elephants, Cape buffalo) in their natural habitat.
• The Arctic – For ethical polar bear viewing and learning about conservation.
• The Galápagos Islands – A wildlife-lover’s dream with fearless, unique species and incredible snorkeling with dolphins, sea turtles, sea lions and more.
