I look at grief support a bit differently than many traditional models, and that’s where people often feel the difference.

  • I’m not pathologizing grief. I don’t see you as “sick” or needing to be “fixed.” Grief is a natural response to love, and we work with it, not against it.
  • I bring lived experience. I’m a bereaved father, not just someone who studied grief in a book. People tell me it lets them go deeper, faster, because they don’t have to explain the basics.
  • I integrate spiritual and afterlife evidence with an engineer’s skepticism. For many, knowing consciousness continues changes everything about how they carry their grief.
  • My GEMS framework (Gratitude, Exercise/Sleep, Mindfulness, Self-care) gives you daily, practical tools, not just “talk and see you next week.”

What kind of support have you tried so far, and what felt missing?
