Answer
I look at grief through both an engineer’s lens and a father’s broken heart, so my approach is a little different from “traditional” grief counseling.
Here are a few key differences:
- I don’t see grief as something to get over, but something to integrate. We focus on rebuilding life with your person still in it, just in a different way.
- I combine science and spirituality: research on consciousness, NDEs, and afterlife evidence alongside psychology and nervous system tools. You don’t have to choose between “rational” and “spiritual.”
- I’ve lived this. My daughter Shayna passed at 15. I’m not guessing what deep loss feels like, and I won’t pathologize your grief on a timetable.
- I work with GEMS: Gratitude, Exercise/Sleep, Mindfulness, Self-care—practical daily habits that gently move you from barely surviving to meaningfully living.
What feels most important to you right now—continuing the bond, calming anxiety, or just getting through the day?
