Question
What are the common voiceover scams Gabrielle Nistico warns against?
Answer
I talk about a few big patterns you should watch out for.
-
Fast‑track “weekend to demo” programs – One or two days of generic training, then you walk out with a demo and a bill for $2,000–$5,000. No real time to know your voice, no customization.
-
Guaranteed demo after “X lessons” – “Do 5 sessions and we’ll cut your demo.” No legit coach can predict your progress on a fixed timeline.
-
Cheap intro classes that upsell hard – A $35–$50 “adult ed” class or webinar that’s basically a sales pitch. Afterwards you get emails or calls saying you were “amazing” and should join their expensive masterclass/demo package.
-
Big income promises – “Make money from your closet in weeks,” “quit your job fast,” or “I’ll show you how in 5 minutes.” If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
If you want, I can walk you through a checklist of questions to ask any coach or company before you pay them anything.
