Which tools and talismans are essential in Ariel Gatoga's witchcraft practices?

In my approach, no physical tool is absolutely essential. The core “tools” are your trained mind, clear intention, and your relationship with the spiritual forces you’re working with. Tools help you focus and symbolize power, but they don’t create it.

That said, I often recommend a very simple toolkit:

• A candle and something to safely light it
• Paper and pen for talismans, petitions, and charms
• A basic perfume or oil (verbena is a great all‑purpose choice)

For talismans, I frequently use:

• A simple paper talisman: a circle, your name, and three single words that represent your desire, then closing the circle to activate it
• Optional planetary symbols in the corners, a bit of sacred perfume, and a small candle burned out next to it

If all you had was paper and pen, you could still do powerful magic in my system.
