In my lectures, I reframe divinity as absolute love, beauty, and wisdom rather than a judging parent keeping a tally of offenses. From that lens, what many traditions call “sin” becomes more about error or misalignment with our true nature than moral stain or permanent guilt.

Instead of focusing on punishment, I focus on cause and effect: harmful thoughts and actions create suffering because they’re out of harmony with divine love, not because a deity is offended. The work, then, is purification, healing, and remembering who we really are, rather than appeasing an angry power.
