When I think about what makes my hosting technique stand out from a lot of other media personalities, a few things really matter:

• I came up through freelance, self-taught work, so I had to learn how to win audiences and clients without the safety net of a big network. That makes me very intentional about preparation, research, and relationship-building on every carpet or set.
• I focus heavily on monetizing and packaging my skills, not just “being on camera.” That means I approach every segment like a brand partnership: clear message, clean delivery, and content that can be repurposed and sold.
• My style leans into being relatable and aspirational at the same time, especially for Black women in media—I’m always thinking about representation and access, not just entertainment.
