What gear or tools does Mercedes Jackson recommend for travel photography in Cappadocia?

I don’t have a formal gear list published specifically for Cappadocia, but based on what I actually did there, here’s what I’d recommend for travel photography in a place like that:

• A wide-angle lens for hot air balloons, rooftops and cave hotels
• A portrait/zoom lens for classic car and carpet shop shots
• Extra batteries and big memory cards (sunrise shoots drain both fast)
• Lightweight tripod or travel-sized mini tripod for early-morning rooftop photoshoots
• Crossbody camera strap and small day bag so you can move easily around rooftops and streets
