We draw on a blend of low‑tech ingenuity and modern EcoSTEM tools to power the OCELOT Eco‑Campus work in Belize.
- Surveying & mapping: compasses, measuring tapes, clinometers, GPS units, basic GIS mapping and sketch mapping in field notebooks
- Eco‑engineering & builds: hand tools (saws, hammers, levels, shovels), simple masonry, timber framing, rainwater catchment hardware, composting systems
- Biomonitoring & agroforestry: quadrats, transect lines, insect nets, soil test kits, tree tags, pollinator‑plot layouts
- Documentation & reflection: cameras/phones for photo‑logs, simple data sheets, checklists, and scout logbooks
