In the GeoCOMPASS approach, we partner with KAYIO (soldier fly larvae) to turn dense kitchen scraps into concentrated fertility. The larvae eat high‑nutrient waste—up to about 5 pounds of kitchen scraps per day—and their digestive systems drastically reduce the original weight and volume.

Roughly 100 lbs (about 12.5 gallons) of scraps become:

• About 5 lbs of rich compost for soil building
• Several quarts of potent organic fertilizer (liquid “tea” from their leachate and frass)
