Hi there! I lean on a Really Right Stuff carbon fiber tripod as my main workhorse. It’s built for stability and durability but still light enough to carry all day.
A big part of my setup is a leveling base/plate, which lets me level the camera quickly without fighting each leg. For panoramas and more precise compositions, I add a nodal slider, so I can rotate around the lens’s nodal point and avoid parallax issues.
I also use small “hacks” to make it more efficient in the field: things like hanging a bag for extra stability, using a bubble level, and managing cables cleanly so nothing gets in the way of shooting.
