What are the challenges Scott Kivowitz faced when using Sony cameras with Mac systems?

From what I’ve shared publicly, I haven’t done a deep technical breakdown of Sony–Mac compatibility issues, so I want to be transparent that I’m generalizing a bit from my own experience and what I hear from other photographers.
