Hi there!

I talk about this in my post “Geotagging photos after the fact without a GPS.” In short, my recommendations are:

  • Use your smartphone’s GPS to log where you are (via a tracking app or even just reference photos) while you shoot with a non-GPS camera
  • Later, sync the track/log with your photos in software like Lightroom, Photo Mechanic, or similar tools
  • Alternatively, drop images onto a map-based tool and manually assign locations if you only have a few files
