Which gear and tools are recommended by Scott Kivowitz for building a photographer’s standing desk?

I don’t currently have a dedicated “standing desk build” kit published the way I do for things like C stands and wheels, but I have experimented with a DIY approach that photographers can replicate.

For a photographer’s standing desk, I generally recommend:

• A sturdy tripod or light stand with a laptop tray/platform (like the Gitzo laptop tray I’ve shown in older videos)
• A stable base with wheels if you want mobility in the studio
• Cable management (Velcro ties) and a small accessory tray for cards, batteries, and a notepad

Are you hoping to use this mainly for tethered shooting, general office work, or both?
