Which photography gear does Scott Kivowitz recommend for achieving precision in long exposure photography?

For precision in long exposure photography, I lean on a few core pieces of gear rather than a huge kit:

• Sturdy tripod – absolutely essential so the camera does not move during multi‑second or multi‑minute exposures
• Solid neutral density (ND) filters – 6, 10, or more stops to control light and extend shutter speed
• Remote shutter release or using the camera’s self‑timer to avoid touching the camera
• Lens with manual focus and the ability to disable image stabilization when on a tripod
• Black gaffer’s tape to seal light leaks around the viewfinder, ports, and stacked filters (something I specifically mention in my long exposure tips video)
