How does Scott Kivowitz view the resurgence of film photography in a digital world?

I’ve been really enjoying the resurgence of film, especially as someone who grew up with it and still has old cameras lying around. When I see things like Lomography bringing back 110 cameras and film, I’m honestly shocked but intrigued at the same time.

To me, film’s comeback is about intention and experience. It slows photographers down, makes each frame matter, and brings a tactile joy that’s different from digital. Digital is still my everyday workhorse, but film adds a creative constraint and nostalgia that a lot of people are craving.
